Mixers

S.C.M. Tecnologie submersible mixers stand out for the quality of the production materials used and the design of the propellers, which put these machines at the top of their class for hydraulic efficiency.

Different combinations of blade diameters and rotation speeds make S.C.M. Tecnologie mixers suitable for wide-ranging municipal  and industrial wastewater applications.

Submersible Flowmakers – AF

Power: 15 – 5.5 kW
Rotation speed: 32 - 34 R.P.M.

Flowmakers are used in waste water treatment, namely in nitrification, denitrification, activated sludge treatment and disinfection tanks. These mixers are also applied in industrial mixing, chlorination tanks and digesters of biogas plants used to homogenise, destratify and prevent formation of surface crust. The slow rotation of blades, obtained by application of a reduction gear, makes flowmakers ideal to mix and recirculate, produce currents and distribute efficiently the oxygen provided by aeration systems.

Submersible Mixers MX-gi

Power: 0.75 – 14.2 kW
Rotation Speed: 1400 - 560 R.P.M.

These mixers are ideal for mixing and homogenisation of liquids.
Different rotation speeds, obtained using multipole motors, propellers with self-cleaning profiles and two or three blades, outside components in cast iron, make mixers MX-gi suitable for a wide range of applications, with excellent hydraulic efficiency results. Lifting equipment, consisting of a manual winch and a mixer guide rail and orientation device, are available upon request.

Submersible Mixers MX-gir

Power: 2.2 – 18.5 kW
Rotation speed: 323 - 354 R.P.M.

Designed for mixing of sewage with high content of solids and sand, and for processing Wastewater fluids, the slow-speed mixers of MX-GIR series are also often applied in municipal water treatment plants with excellent results.
When the purpose, for instance, is to keep solids in suspension, it is advisable to utilise mixers having larger impeller diameter and low rotational speed.
The mixer orientation system, supplied with the lifting equipment, allows the flow to be directed to avoid formation of dead zones inside the tank.
